PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

 

Responsible of Implementation of Procurement & Logistics Procedures compliance with ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, ISO 45001: 2018 & East African Community Customs Management Act (EACCMA) – 2004 and Procurement Regulatory Authority for each country in the Regional. Accountable for the delivery of all procurement and logistics related activities in accordance with the organization procurement and logistics policies and procedures

 

Pilot, Trainer and Auditor of Procurement & Logistics process in the regional.

 

Leads operational country-assessments, create and implement regional procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within the company.

 

Plan, coordinate and manage the procurement, logistics and contracting of good and services in the Regional, while ensuring integrity of the process, efficiency, timeliness, and service to clients. Ensure Procurement team members are engaged and efficient in performing their duties.

 

Support all activities pertaining to the supply chain function including planning, sourcing, transport, shipping, customs clearance, warehousing, asset and fleet management in the Regional, and support EAC region country offices, according to the East African Community Customs Management Act (EACCMA) – 2004
